Rhino Revolution works closely with Hoedspruit based Hope for Wildlife Helicopter Services, run by Jana Meyer, the only helicopter pilot in the area qualified to fly at night.
Rhino Revolution UK are proud to have been able to fund the purchase of thermal imaging binoculars, which will be used at night, to search for poachers after incursions have been detected and to look for injured animals. These binoculars will be used by the reaction unit team, sitting behind Jana in the helicopter and will pick up heat signatures of poachers below.
