Mhelembe: A Rhino Tale – Authored and illustrated by Imelda Bell (age 3+)

This story, written in rhyme, is about 2 children living in an African village. One day they find a baby rhino, who’s mother has been poached for her horns. The story centres around the rescue of the orphaned rhino and is based on the real, ongoing work of Rhino Revolution, a rhino orphanage and rehabilitation centre in South Africa, who care for not only rhinos, but pangolins too. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and release.
