This morning Jacky (RR Vet Nurse) and Sophie (RR Pangolin Monitoring Project Co-ordinator) gave a presentation to members of the Bushwise Research Project, signalling the start of what we hope will be an exciting and fruitful partnership! Rhino Revolution is thrilled to be a sponsor for a 6 month camera trapping project that will be run by the Bushwise Researchers.
We will be looking to capture photos of wild pangolins and record key data about their activities and habits in our local area. We hope that this will increase the effectiveness of our anti-poaching strategies and efforts; and that the data collected will maximise the chances of successful rehabilitation and release of any rescued pangolins that come into our care! Watch this space for updates as the project continues!
